Leading artists in international jazz will join the very best of Ireland’s players at the 20th anniversary of Bray Jazz Festival this coming May Bank Holiday weekend (May 3rd-5th).

The scheduled concert with American pianist Fred Hersch has been cancelled for medical reasons. Celebrated US pianist Marc Copland will perform in his place.

Our other weekend headliners are multi-Grammy Award winning jazz guitarist John Scofield, and the remarkable German cellist Anja Lechner & French jazz pianist Francois Couturier .

Also featuring are European jazz singer of the year Lucia Cadotsch’s Speak Low, celebrated British jazz singer Norma Winstone, Mats Gustaffson’s muscular Swedish trio Fire!, inventive French four-piece No Tongues, and  a host of others.

Artists from the United States, Norway, Sweden, France, Holland, Lithuania, Switzerland and West Africa are amongst those who will feature.
