Bellefield House, Georgian Cottages & Gardens

Visitors are welcome to visit and sit in the beautifully restored walled garden and avail of seasonal produce including fruit, vegetables and herbs.

Georgian Cottages

The cottages are set within the courtyard at the entrance to the farmhouse. The cottages are converted from the farm and stable buildings of a former stud where a number of Grand National winners were bred in the 1950's.

Gardens

The walled gardens are built of local Tipperary sandstone with brick along the south-west facing warm wall. No sign of the original glasshouse remained so an old style Victorian glasshouse, using salvaged materials was constructed in 2008.

A fantastical folly surrounded by a fernery was built in 2007 and it forms the focal point of the garden.

Open Days
