New Year’s Festival Dublin will present two spectacular midnight moment countdown events on New Year’s Eve with a fantastic family friendly matinee show on December 31st for all ages from 4pm, followed by the evening show starting from 8pm, featuring WESTLIFE.

New this year, NYF Dublin’s Festival Village will become a hive of activity for families and friends with fun-filled festivities for all ages. Soak up the electrifying atmosphere as a host of stellar Irish musicians and DJs will perform live across multiple stages along North Wall Quay and enjoy live music, street entertainment and the best of food delights at the festival village from early until late.


North Wall Quay / 4pm / 31st December

Families and friends of all ages can count down to the New Year together at Midnight Moment – Matinee, a very special earlier countdown event for the little ones. Entertainment for this event will start at 4pm and will be headlined by Gavin James, Lyra & Brad Heidi leading to the earlier countdown spectacle at 7pm – expect a carnival atmosphere filled with awe and wonder. Ring in 2023 with New Year’s Festival Dublin, Ireland’s biggest New Year Celebration. For the first time ever, Westlife have been confirmed to headline New Year’s Festival Dublin performing in the brand-new Festival Village on New Year’s Eve, 31st December – with special guests Gavin James and Lyra. North Wall Quay / 8pm / 31st December Tickets for Westlife at the NYF Dublin Festival Village (priced €34.90 including booking fee) are on sale now from Ticketmaster.

The New Year’s Celebrations and festivities will continue on New Year’s Day. Guaranteed to be one of the highlights of New Year’s Festival Dublin – visitors, families and friends of all ages are invited to kick start 2023 with style. Come celebrate and enjoy an afternoon of live music in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, the cultural heart of Dublin City. Be wowed by interactive artwork displays, enjoy food, music and street performances and tie your New Year’s Resolutions to the special Resolution Tree. This is a free event and tickets are not required.
