A Taste of West Cork Food Festival

The 2017 A Taste of West Cork Food Festival runs until the 17th September 2017, with over 230 events taking place from Bandon to Beara including food markets, cooking demonstrations, dinners, brunches and banquets with guest chefs, food-tastings, talks, exhibitions, children's events and more.

Dublin Fringe

This year's Fringe Festival runs to the 24th September with over 400 theatre, music, live art, comedy and dance performances entertaining people in over thirty venues.

Little Red Riding Hood

Founded in 1972 by Eugene Lambert and his family, the theatre presents family performances most weekends of the year and also special seasons for school and pre-school groups. On Sunday 17th & 24th they will perform Little Red Riding Hood in what promises to be a fantastic family show.

Clifden Arts Festival

The longest running community arts festival in Ireland, Clifden Community Arts Festival, now heading into its 40th year continues until September 14-24 with poetry readings, lectures, recitals, traditional music, concerts, comedy and more.

Dunfanaghy Jazz & Blues Festival

Ten different music stages in pubs and bars throughout the village of Dunfanaghy as well as some ticketed events in Holy Trinity Church, including an opening night performance by the popular Inishowen Gospel Choir.

The Spectacular Autumn Vintage & Handmade Fair

Frock Around The Clock will be returning to Belfast's Cathedral Quarter and the stunning location of Belfast Cathedral on Saturday 16th September 2017 for The Spectacular Autumn Vintage & Handmade Fair. Do your vintage and handmade shopping and then take an audio tour of the Cathedral which is included in the admission cost of only £3. 

Picnic in the Park

Originally scheduled for last weekend, it was wisely moved due to the poor weather. A fun free family day out in Mullingar organised by the Westmeath Food Network.

Mountbellew Agricultural Show

The 113th Show takes place in Galway this weekend where, along with some competitive classes there will also be lots of family fun and a free Kids Zone.

Things to do Next Week:

National Ploughing Championship

The Ploughing starts on Tuesday 19th and is now more than just a competition. Over 250,000 people will be entertained over the three days with a tented trade village, a food fair, craft village, fashion shows, celebrity guests, sheep dog trials, craft demonstrations, celebrity cookery demonstrations, outdoor radio broadcasts and much more.
