There are some thundery showers throughout the weekend although the overall forecast is not that bad.
After some morning rain clears to the north, Friday will brighten with good sunny spells in many places.
However, heavy thundery showers will also break out, these becoming widespread through the afternoon and tomorrow evening.
On Saturday, Met Eireann forecast that there will be some scattered showers, some heavy and possibly of hail, in the west during the day but the rest of the country should be a dry, fresh day with sunny spells.
Sunday looks like being the best day to plan any outdoor adventures as it should be dry and bright, with good sunny spells in all areas.
Temperatures over the weekend should be warm with highs up to the mid-teens degrees Celsius.
