Come and celebrate St Patrick's Day with your family at Festina Lente! Join us on Sun March 17 2024 between 10.00am and 3.00pm for a delightful day surrounded by nature.
Tickets: €23 per child - Adults Free
Get ready for a fun-filled experience as we bring you a range of exciting activities (suitable for age 2 to 12)and immerse yourself in the beauty of the outdoors
Bring your little ones along and let them explore our enchanting gardens, filled with vibrant flora and fauna. They can enjoy fun-filled nature scavenger hunts and craft workshops and create their own St Patrick's Day-themed crafts to take home.
Your Visit
Your visit begins with a pony ride around our beautiful Victorian Walled Gardens, followed by an array of nature activities. (Total activity length is 1 hour - we welcome you to bring a picnic and enjoy the gardens for the day!) Wear your best St Patrick's Day costumes or dress in green to celebrate the day! Places are limited and booked at 15 minute intervals - no need to book for parents who are FREE.
Activities include:
• Make and decorate your own Green earthworms and snakes to take home and feed the soil
• Build Bug hotels to green the earth
• Make your own Green “croc of gold” seed pots: decorate seed pots and sow with magic edible seeds to take home
• Create Nature magic wands
• Green scavenge hunt – great adventures in our gardens, in search of green treasures everywhere, with prizes to be won
• Green seed bomb making – help make the earth even more greener!
• Nature Craft and colour corner – your very own green area to draw and colour in your favourite green plants and trees
