Please note that due to the current move to Level 3 of the Plan for Living with COVID-19 the Wexford Arts Centre will remain closed until 2nd December. To enable the Saturday Art Classes to go ahead we have moved them online via Zoom.

Deirdre and Jeni will be facilitating an engaging, fun series of workshops and can't wait to begin making art again!

"Weeds, Wild Flowers and Fern Painting..."

We'll be using easily available basic art supplies, along with whatever foliage you can collect, in a really creative fun way to make colourful abstract oil pastel/paints works ...

Materials List

Leaves / green foliage which has a textured surface (the underneath is best)
White A4 or A3 paper - the thinner the better - printer paper is perfect
Some oil pastels or crayons for doing the leaf 'rubbings' - black is great
Water based paints (poster paint is perfect)
Plate /other flat surface for mixing paints
Water / container
Paint Brushes
Masking tape / Sellotape
Rolling Pin
Scissors
Playdough
