This free event provides an opportunity for the public to engage with fun, educational, hands on activities that showcase geoscience and its importance in everyday life. Activities include build an earthquake proof house, make a trace fossil, design a water filtration system, and turn your smartphone into a microscope. New for this year is ‘Guess Who?’, a game that challenges you to use a geoscientist’s equipment to discover their profession (e.g. palaeontologist/hydrogeologist). Run in collaboration with iCRAG.
