Join IFTA and Emmy award winning Director Dearbhla Walsh for a workshop for children with a keen interest in film and life behind the screen. Part of Fantastic Flix at The Ark.

This fun but intensive workshop will give budding filmmakers an exciting insight into the world behind the lens and the many layers of craft which the director guides and experiences.

This is an amazing opportunity for children to learn from an acclaimed Irish director. Dearbhla has worked extensively in television, including children's programming - she directed the television film adaptation of Roald Dahl's Esio Trot. Grown-ups will have seen her work in shows such as Fargo, Penny Dreadful, Hide & Seek and Eastenders.

No experience is necessary but if you are interested in directing and film-making and want to find out more, then this workshop is most definitely for you.

Presented in partnership with the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival.
